Surrey Wins U16 League Final

Surrey Wins U16 League Final

Essex, Hertfordshire and Surrey had won their respective divisions in this year’s SEG U16 League competition and were thus able to send their teams to play in the Final at Eaton GC on 25th September 2022.

After practice rounds in the rain on the eve of the event, the players were afforded the luxury of better weather on the day. There were some very good performances on the day with Surrey managing to overcome both Hertfordshire (who finished second) and Essex (who finished third) to take the title.

Congratulations to the players from Surrey (Monty Holcombe, James Brash, Ollie George, Freddie Surgey, Daniel Prince, Leo Vorobyev, Thomas White and Brahma Patel) who are pictured below.
