Surrey wins U14 League

Surrey wins U14 League

Teams of ten young men from Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Surrey assembled at Bedfordshire GC on Sunday 11th September to play in the Final of this year’s U14 League. All of the counties had done well to win their respective divisions to qualify for the Final.

The format on the day was triangular matchplay over 18 holes. The weather was kind and the course in very good condition particularly as we had only just seen the end of the very hot weather.

Hertfordshire and Surrey both overcame Middlesex and Surrey managed to impose themselves on Hertfordshire to retain the Trophy. Congratulations to the Surrey Team for their well deserved victory and to all of the players for the way that they conducted themselves on the course.
