Seniors County Championship 2018 – SEG Qualifier

Seniors County Championship 2018 – SEG Qualifier

The South Eastern Group Qualifier for the 2018 Seniors’ County Championship was held at Hindhead Golf Club on 17th & 18th July 2018.

Despite the exceptionally hot and dry weather conditions that had prevailed for some time before the event, the course was presented in excellent condition and provided a stern test for the competitors. The best individual score over the two days was made by Doug Park of Sussex who scored a total of 141, one over par. Doug was four shots clear of the field over 36 holes.

In the team event – five scores from six in both rounds – Sussex ran out clear winners with a total score of 734 which is 34 over par. Second was BB&O and Surrey, both on 54 over par – twenty strokes behind Sussex.

Full results can be found here.
