SEG Seniors’ Qualifier 2022

SEG Seniors’ Qualifier 2022

The 11 counties sent their six best Seniors to East Sussex National GC on12th & 13th July 2022 to play in the SEG qualifying event for the EG Senior Men’s County Finals.

The temperature was high on both days and scoring was difficult. Danny Holmes of Kent was the only player to finish under par for the 36 holes. His combined score of 141 was six strokes better than the field.

The best five scores from each day make up the team score. Kent were the winners with a Team Score of 759 (39 over par) with Surrey and Sussex both finishing on 765 (45 over par).

Kent will go on to represent the South East Group in the finals at Rothley Park GC (Leicestershire) in October.

Thanks to everyone at East Sussex National GC for hosting this event and making us all feel welcome.
