Kent wins 2019 Seniors’ League

Teams of ten players from Kent and Essex played in the final of the SEG Seniors’ League at Muswell Hill Golf Club on Wednesday 16th October 2019.

The weather in the week before the event had been wet with heavy downpours having been a feature in the days before. The course was wet but otherwise in very good condition. The weather forecast was not good but thankfully not accurate either. Heavy rain predicted for Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning did not materialise and play got underway on time.

The Kent players were on good form and ran out clear winners (9-1).
