Hampshire wins U16 League Final

Hampshire wins U16 League Final

Eight players from Hampshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk met in the final of the U16 League at The Dyke Golf Club on 30th September 2018.

The weather was fine and sunny at the beginning of the afternoon but turned quite cold with an increasing wind in the afternoon. The Club Captain described the conditions as benign. The course was in excellent condition and allowed for some equally good golf.

Hertfordshire and Hampshire drew their match and both managed to secure a victory against Suffolk. The title was therefore decided on total games won which meant victory for Hampshire. A close run event but congratulations to the team from Hampshire.
